INFRASTRUCTURE
We need local government officials who will notice the problematic and damaged roads and fix them. We need leadership who will provide proper maintenance of our parks and public places. This needs to happen fairly across District 17 and not just in some places and other communities ignored.
PROPERTY TAXES
Our residents biggest concern? Property Taxes. Our assessment has been finally done and property taxes are corrected, Â and now with a balanced county budget, we can progress to the next step to see how we can help homeowners. but we need Legislators who actively and with enthusiasm want to be partake in this legislative process.
THE ENVIRONMENT
Protecting our environment directly impacts our quality of life on Long Island. We need legislation that will continue to protect the environment and at the same time allow for creation of new jobs, businesses which helps our county and District Grow. District 17 has seen tons of new real estate development, we need to have laws that require clean energy to part of the process.
